Jonathan Louie

One of the original members since 2001, Jonathan had started his training at the age of 17. Winner of numerous events and one grand championship, Jonathan continues to train in preparation for future events. With a strong leadership character, Jonathan helps to welcome and train new students to the class with careful attention to details and great patience.

Zackary Ting

Zackary has been training Choy Lee Fat under Sifu Paul Tam since 2004. He has performed in many kung fu and lion dance demonstrations. Zackary has competed in several tournaments. Throughout his years of training, he has won several medals. Zackary currently holds an orange belt in Shung Ying Kung Fu club.

Alan Au

Alan Au began training Kung Fu in 2004 at the age of 15. He trains not only in Choy Lee Fat, but Lion Dance and Tai Chi also. Alan has currently achieved an orange belt level for Choy Lee Fat. Having competed in many local tournaments, Alan has obtained a gold medal for Chen style Tai Chi at the West Coast Cam-Am and at the International Tristar Taiji Health Convention in 2007. As a senior student, Alan helps to lead class and wishes to further his studies in martial arts.

Jacky Ye

Jacky Ye started training under Sifu Paul Tam at the age of 14 years old. Throughout the years, he has studied both Choy Lee Fut and Lion Dance. Since joining Kung Fu, He enjoys competing and taking part in performances. Jacky is currently studying and practicing single broadsword and single headed staff; He is also one of the senior leaders in the club. Like many others in the club, Jacky wishes to perfect his technique and continue working harder every time he practices.

Devan Ling

Devan Ling has been practicing Choy Lee Fat under Sifu Paul Tam since 2001. Thus far, he has achieved the orange belt rank. His efforts in Choy Lee Fat have won him first place in two regional competitions: the West Coast Can-Am Championships and the Traditional Kung Fu Invitational.

Chris Choi

Chris Choi entered the club in 2002 under the teaching of Sifu Paul Tam and has obtained an orange belt thus far. Over the years, Chris has participated in many kung fu and lion dance performances. Utilizing this experience, he has won several top prizes in the junior division of numerous traditional kung fu tournaments around the Lower Mainland. Chris is currently an assistant leader in the Richmond Branch.
